Pasai Beach is one of the main beaches of Koh Yao Noi. It’s located on the south eastern coast of the island, very close to the island’s main town and main pier. Pasai is a good beach for swimming, and from the beach, you can easily take boat trips to Nok island and Hong islands.
Pasai is a 1km long beach with golden coarse sand, calm shallow water, and peaceful atmosphere. It’s a nice beach for swimming, relaxing, and unwind. The shore is lined with palm trees and tropical trees, creating natural shades.
I didn’t see many umbrellas and sunbeds for rent on the beach, just a small number of sunbeds at the southern end of the beach, so it’s best to bring your own towel to the beach. Some beachfront restaurants and bars have tables and chairs set out on the shore for their customers.

Parai Beach runs parallel with the island’s main road, so it’s very easily accessible from the main road. The southern part of Pasai beach is separated from the main road by the line of palm trees and the seawall. You walk down to the beach via stairs.
Most restaurants, hotels, and houses are located on the opposite side of the road from the beach, so the shoreline remains largely unobstructed.
In this article, I’ll show you the location of Pasai Beach, how to get to the beach, things to do and some of the best places to stay in Pasai Beach.

How to get to Pasai Beach, Koh Yao Noi?
The best way to get to Pasai Beach from Kawanwyere on Koh Yao Noi is by scooter. The scooter is generally the most affordable way to explore the island. The main road is also paved and relatively flat, making it easy to get around on a scooter.

You can easily rent a scooter at a local motorbike rental or ask your hotel to organise it for you. You can find the rental shops at the Manoh Pier and popular beach towns such as Klong Jark, Pasai, and Tha Khao Beach. The rent is only 250-300 baht a day.
Manoh Pier is the main pier in Koh Yao Noi, making it the entry and departure point of the island. From this pier, you take speed boats and long tail boats for other islands in the Andanman Sea like Phuket, Koh Lipe, Koh Lanta, Ao Nang/ Railay, or Koh Yao Yai.
When you’re arriving at Manoh Pier, you can rent a scooter at the motorbike rental shops near the pier to get to your hotel in Pasai Beach. You can also use the local taxi songthaew pick up truck to get to your place in Pasai. The taxi costs around 100 baht. You can also ask your hotel to arrange transport for you.
I stayed in Koh Yao Yai and visited Koh Yao Noi and Pasai Beach on a day trip. I brought my scooter on the long tail boat from Chong Lard Pier to Manoh Pier, then drove to Pasai beach.
It was a bit expensive, around 200 baht for the boat including a scooter, but I avoided the hustle of renting a scooter in Yao Noi island. If you want to bring your scooter to Yao Noi from Yao Yai, you need to ask your rental owner permission to do it, as most places don’t allow people to do it in the contract.

Nok island is around 2.5km from Pasai Beach and Hong islands are about 7km away. You can easily book the long tail boat trips from Pasai Beach to these beautiful islands for swimming, snorkeling, and hiking.

Nok island is known for its secluded beach and a lovely viewpoint. You can chill at the beach or if you’re adventurous, you can climb to a short but challenging trail to Ko Nok View Point. The view point has sweeping views of the surrounding ocean and limestones.
Hong islands are the must see in the Andaman Sea. It has a beautiful lagoon, beach, and stunning viewpoint. The beach in Hong island has crystal clear water and fine white sand.
