Loh Jark Beach, Koh Yao Yai

Loh Jark Beach, also known as Loh Chak Beach, is one the last beaches on the south west coast of Koh Yao Yai. The beach has a secluded atmosphere and is home to Loh Jak Pier, which is convenient for taking boats to the nearby islands such as Phuket.

Loh Jark Beach is around 700m long, with white fine sand, clean and calm water. The beach is divided into parts by the Loh Chak Pier at the middle of the beach.

The southern part of Loh Jark has a quieter atmosphere than the northern part. There are a couple of beachfront restaurants and bars, jet skis trailers, and speed boats on the northern part while the southern part is almost empty with no facilities. The two ends of the beach are rocky areas.

The beach has a serene atmosphere with palm trees and tropical trees along the shore, creating natural shades. The beachfront restaurants also offer sunbeds and umbrellas for their customers.
