Koh Lipe Walking Street is around 500m long narrow street, connecting Pattaya Beach on the island’s south west coast with Sunrise Beach on the island’s east coast. It’s around 10 minutes walk from Pattaya Beach to Sunrise Beach via Walking Street.

The starting point of the Walking street is right at the middle part of Pattaya Beach, right next to the Steak House and the main pier of the island. This is the first place you arrive on the island by speed boat.

Walking Street is paved, unlike many other roads on the island, so you can easily roll your suitcase and stay clean even when it rains. There are also small side roads that provide access to all the island’s beaches.

Koh Lipe Walking Street turns into pedestrian-only street each night from 6pm to midnight. If you take a motorbike taxi to this street, the driver will drop you at the nearest point to it.

The walking street of Koh Lipe is packed with all kinds of restaurants serving both local dishes and international food. There are also many restaurants serving fresh seafood.

You can find typical Thai food like Thai pineapple fried rice, pad thai, curry, mango sticky rice, as well as Italian or Indian dishes. I had some good noodle soups and Thai food at Glow Noodle House, Thaidurm Restaurant, and Noy wangcha-aon restaurant.
