How to get to Klong Jark Beach Koh Lanta?
If you stay in Klong Jark, you’ll likely get to your hotel from Sala Dan Pier. Sala Dan is the main pier of Koh Lanta, so most visitors will arrive at Sala Dan this pier when arriving at Koh Lanta from other islands in the Andaman Sea such as Phuket, Koh Lipe, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Yao, and Ao Nang/ Krabi.

From Sala Dan pier, you can take local songthaews pick up trucks to get to Klong Jark. There are plenty of songthaew drivers outside of the pier. There are no riding share services such as Grab or Bolt on Koh Lanta.
The cost for Songthaew ride is quite expensive in Koh Lanta, around 1000 baht for a private ride from Sala Dan Pier to Klong Jark. You can book a shared ride for about 300-350 baht. You can ask your hotel to arrange transport for you and get a quote from them.
Many boat companies sell combo tickets that include boat ride and the transfer from Salan Pier to the hotel on Lanta Yai. You can consider this option for a lower fee. The road transfer fee is usually an additional 100 baht to the boat ride.
You can also consider renting a scooter at the pier then driving to your hotel if you have light luggage. There are several scooter rentals around the pier and on the main road 4245 within walking distance from the pier. The rental only costs 250-300 baht per day.

Klong Jark is a 500m long beach that has white sand, calm clean shallow water, and a peaceful atmosphere. It has less rocks in the sea bed compared to other beaches around the island, which is good for all the water activities. There are hills at both ends, so be mindful of the monkeys.
The beach is wide and there are trees far from the shore where restaurants, bars, and resorts are located. You can find a handful of beachfront restaurants, bars, and massage shops on the beach.
