Hello and welcome to my website about Thailand!
My name is Huong. I love to travel around the world and have a big passion for Thailand. I have traveled to Thailand many times. I’ve visited from popular places like Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, to lesser-known destinations such as Koh Kood or Koh Yao.
I have experience exploring Thailand through guided tours, by hiring private drivers, and on rental motorbikes. Being a Vietnamese traveler to Thailand, I feel I have lots of advantages, especially when I’m traveling solo. Most locals think I’m Thai, it is just that I don’t speak Thai. Thailand and Vietnam have lots of similarities anyway!
I love to travel Thailand because:
#1. Local people are very friendly and helpful. It is truly the land of the smile.
#2. Food is delicious and there are lots of options.
#3. It is cheaper than Australia where I’m currently living.
#4. Lots of things to do and see. From big cities to mountainous areas and beaches and islands, Thailand has it all! Bangkok is a very big city for me but it is a good starting point to explore the country. I love the vibe of Chiang Mai, not too big, and not too expensive compared to other islands in the south.
#5. Safety! In my opinion, Thailand is a very safe destination to visit. I have traveled to Thailand as a solo female traveler and didn’t have any problems there. Of course, as in any place, I always practice normal common sense to ensure my safety. In terms of motorbike theft, I think Thailand is safer than Vietnam. In Thailand, in many cities I visited, I just park my motorbike anywhere with my helmet hanging on the bike, and nothing happens. If it’s in Vietnam, the bike will probably be gone at no time.
